PSG thrashed Chelsea 5-2 in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 match at Parc des Princes on 11 March 2026.

Off the bench, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia put on a man-of-the-match performance, scoring twice and providing one assist.

Bradley Barcola put the Parisians in front in the 10th minute, assisted by Joao Neves. However, Malo Gusto equalised for the Blues in the 28th minute with the assistance of Enzo Fernandez.

Ousmane Dembele restored the hosts’ lead in the 40th minute, ensuring PSG went into the halftime break leading 2-1. Chelsea started the second half strongly with Fernandez finding the equaliser in the 57th minute, assisted by Pedro Neto.

Enrique then changed the game when he introduced Kvaratskhelia in the 62nd minute. Kvaratskhelia’s first contribution in the match was an assist to Vitinha. Vitinha scored PSG’s third goal in the 74th minute.

Kvara then extended the home side’s lead to 4-2 in the 86th minute, assisted by Willian Pacho. Additionally, the Georgian left winger made it 5-2 in the 90+4 minute, assisted by Achraf Hakimi.

Ibrahimovic restored the Parisians’ lead in the 67th minute. Angel Di Maria assisted Ibrahimovic in scoring the winning goal for PSG.

PSG 2-1 Chelsea

PSG edged Chelsea 2-1 in a thrilling first leg of their UEFA Champions League Play-Offs match at Parc des Princes on 16 February 2016.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic put the Parisians in front in the 39th minute. However, John Obi Mikel equalised for the visitors in the 45+1 minute, assisted by Diego Costa.

Edinson Cavani scored the hosts’ winning goal in the 78th minute with the assistance of Angel Di Maria.

PSG 1-1 (5-6 on penalties) Chelsea
