Désiré Doué scores brace as PSG demolish Leverkusen 7-2 in UEFA Champions League thriller

Désiré Doué scored twice in PSG’s commanding 7-2 victory over Bayer Leverkusen in the UEFA Champions League, showcasing their dominance in the match on 21 October 2025.

Désiré Doué scored twice when PSG thrashed Bayer Leverkusen 7-2 on matchday three of the UEFA Champions League at BayArena in Germany on Tuesday, 21 October 2025.

The 20-year-old winger scored his first goal in the 41st minute and also found the back of the net in the 45+3 minute. Willian Pacho scored PSG’s first goal in the 7th minute.

Alejandro Grimaldo failed to level the score from the penalty spot in the 25th minute. Six minutes later, Leverkusen’s Robert Andrich received a red card, and PSG’s Ilya Zabarnyi also got sent off in the 37th minute.

In the 38th minute, Aleix Garcia levelled the score from the penalty spot. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who assisted in Doué’s first goal, also netted in the 44th minute. The visiting French side went into the halftime break leading 4-1.

Nuno Mendes Scores in Leverkusen vs PSG Match

Nuno Mendes, who provided the assist in Pacho’s goal, scored PSG’s fifth goal in the 50th minute. Garcia scored his second goal of the match in the 54th minute, altering the score to 5-2.

Ballon d’Or winner Ousmane Dembélé also registered his name on the scoresheet when he netted PSG’s sixth goal in the 66th minute. Vitinha, who got an assist when Mendes scored, also found the back of the net in the 90th minute.

Luis Enrique’s men humiliated Kasper Hjulmand and his boys 7-2 in their own backyard. The defending champions sent a strong message to all the European clubs coming for their title.

Leverkusen Latest Results

Leverkusen edged Mainz 4-3 in a thrilling Bundesliga match on 18 October 2025. Alejandro Grimaldo opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 11th minute. Christian Kofane doubled Leverkusen’s score in the 24th minute.

The home side’s Jae-Sung Lee pulled one back in the 34th minute, but Grimaldo gave Leverkusen a two-goal advantage in the 45+3 minute. The visitors were leading 3-1 heading into the halftime break.
