Ballon d’Or winner Ousmane Dembele opened the scoring in the 13th minute, assisted by Vitinha. However, Mason Greenwood converted from the spot in the 76th minute, levelling the score to 1-1.

Willian Pacho then gifted Marseille the lead in the 87th minute when he unfortunately scored in his own net while trying to defend a dangerous move. However, Goncalo Ramos equalised for the Parisians in the 90+5 minute, assisted by Bradley Barcola.

PSG thrashed Marseille 4-1 in the penalty shoot-out after Lucas Chavalier saved both Matt O’Riley and Hamed Junior Traore’s penalties.

Marseille 1-0 PSG

Marseille edged PSG 1-0 in a tightly contested Ligue 1 clash at Stade Velodrome on 22 September 2025.

An own goal by Marquinhos in the 5th minute gifted the hosts maximum points. With a 68% ball possession, PSG tried every trick in their scoring book, but Geronimo Rulli stood his ground.

Rulli pulled off five crucial saves, ensuring that the reigning Ligue 1 champions went back home empty-handed.

Joao Neves put the Parisians in the lead in the 7th minute. Amine Harit added to Marseille’s misery when he committed a serious foul, which resulted in his sending off in the 20th minute.

Nine minutes later, Leonardo Balerdi gifted PSG the second goal when he unfortunately scored in his own net. Bradley Barcola then extended the visitors’ lead to 3-0 in the 40th minute, assisted by Ousmane Dembele.

Marseille 0-2 PSG

Ten-man PSG swept aside Marseille 2-0 in another Ligue 1 match at Stade Velodrome on 31 March 2024. Despite being reduced to 10 men in the first half, the Parisians went on to score two goals against Marseille.

The referee gave Lucas Beraldo a straight red after his serious foul on his opponent in the 40th minute. After the red card, an inspired PSG proved why they’re one of the best teams in Europe.

Vitinha put PSG in the lead in the 53rd minute, assisted by Ousmane Dembele. Goncalo Ramos then doubled the visitors’ lead in the 85th minute with the assistance of Marco Asensio.
