Mduduzi Shabalala scored a brace when Kaizer Chiefs thrashed Orbit College 4-1 at FNB Stadium in a Betway Premiership clash on Tuesday, 4 November 2025.
It took only four minutes for Shabalala to find the back of the net. The star then extended Chiefs’ lead in the 61st minute. Ayanda Lukhele, who came on in the 58th minute, pulled one back for Orbit in the 70th minute.
Three minutes after Lukhele reduced the deficit, Mfundo Vilakazi extended Chiefs’ lead to 3-1. Shabalala, who put on a man-of-the-match performance, assisted him.
Flávio Silva, Amakhosi’s super sub, added the fourth goal in the 89th minute. Silva had replaced Etiosa Ighodaro in the 73rd minute.
Following their dominant victory, Chiefs moved to the second spot in the league standings. They’re now level on points with reigning champions, Mamelodi Sundowns. They both have 22 points after 11 games.
Orbit College, which occupies the 12th spot, remains on 13 points after 12 matches. They’ve lost seven, won four, and drawn one game.
