Sofiane Boufal fired Morocco in front in the 29th minute, assisted by Bilal El Khannouss. However, Manchester United’s Casemiro levelled the score in the 67th minute, assisted by Lucas Paqueta.

Abdelhamid Sabiri restored the African nation’s lead in the 79th minute, assisted by Walid Cheddira. The Moroccans held on to their narrow lead until the final whistle. A massive victory for them!

Brazil 3-0 Morocco

A star-studded Brazil trounced Morocco 3-0 in a thrilling FIFA World Cup encounter at Stade de la Beaujoire on 16 June 1998.

Ronaldo opened the scoring in the 9th minute of the Group A match, assisted by Rivaldo. Rivaldo then doubled the Brazilians’ lead in the 45+2 minute, assisted by Cafu.

Early in the second half, Ronaldo assisted Bebeto in scoring Brazil’s third goal in the 50th minute. As expected, the Brazilians, who were the favourites to win the tournament, outclassed Morocco in the thriller.
