Manchester United shared the spoils with relegation-threatened West Ham after a 1-1 draw in a Premier League clash at Old Trafford on Thursday.

Diogo Dalot opened the scoring for the home side with a close-range shot in the 58th minute, sending the Man U faithful into a frenzy. United were firm favourites to win the match after scoring, but that wasn’t the case.

Following some sloppy defending from the Red Devils, Soungoutou Magassa equalised for the visitors in the 83rd minute. He netted from a rebound from his side’s corner kick.

Ruben Amorim’s side enjoyed a lion’s share of possession in the match, but were not accurate in front of goal. From their 17 shots, only four were on target.

One of the best Manchester United chances fell to Bruno Fernandes inside the box in stoppage time, but the Portuguese footballer skied his shot.

He also missed a great chance around the 30th minute, sending the ball narrowly off the left post.

West Ham remains in the 18th position after securing a point in the match. They have 12 points from three wins and three draws. They’ve lost eight games.
