Morgan Rogers scored twice when Aston Villa edged Leeds 2-1 in a Premier League clash at Elland Road on Sunday, 23 November 2025.
The Villans came from behind in the dramatic encounter and disappointed the Leeds faithful in their own backyard. Rogers scored the winner in the 75th minute with a free kick from the edge of the box.
Rogers had equalised in the 48th minute after being teed up by Donyell Malen inside the box. Leeds took the lead in the 8th minute when Lukas Nmecha scored from a rebound.
Leeds were dealt a major blow when referee Robert Jones cancelled their second goal in the 77th minute after a VAR review revealed that there was a handball in the build-up.
