In their latest match on 23 September 2025, Chelsea knocked minnows Lincoln City out in the last 16 of the EFL Cup. The League One side gave Chelsea supporters a scare when it took the lead in the 42nd minute. Rob Street scored just before the halftime break.
Chelsea proved why they’re the Club World Cup champions when they scored two quick goals in the second half. Tyrique George equalised in the 49th minute, and Facundo Buonanotte scored the winner in the 50th minute.
