Brighton vs Tottenham: Key players, latest results, and head-to-head in the Premier League

Brajan Gruda is one of the key players for Brighton. The German right winger has played four matches and scored one goal in the Premier League this season. He has also scored and assisted in the ongoing EFL Cup.

He’s one of the creative players at Brighton. Stats show that he produced four assists and scored one goal in the 21 league matches he played last season.

Brennan Johnson is Tottenham’s main man. The year-old forward has already scored two goals in four Premier League matches this season. In the previous season, Johnson netted 11 goals and secured three assists in 33 matches for Tottenham.

If he’s not scoring, he creates goal-scoring opportunities for other scorers on his side, like Richarlison.

Brighton suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Bournemouth in their last match on 13 September 2025. Brighton lost Jack Hinshelwood in the 3rd minute of the contest when he was taken off due to injury.

Alex Scott scored Bournemouth’s first goal in the 18th minute. Kaoru Mitoma equalised for Brighton in the 48th minute. However, Bournemouth scored the lead again in the 61st minute when Anthony Semenyo converted from the penalty spot.

Before that, Brighton stunned Manchester City 2-1 on 31 August 2025. Erling Haaland gave the English football giants a lead in the 34th minute. Brighton proved to be the kings of comebacks when they scored two goals in the second half.

James Milner scored Brighton’s first goal in the 67th minute, and Brajan Gruda scored a late winner in the 89th minute.

Did Tottenham Win Their Last Two Matches?

Tottenham edged Villarreal 1-0 in Round 1 of the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, 16 September 2025. Luiz Júnior gifted Spurs the lead in the 4th minute when he scored an own goal. It was definitely a physical contest as the referee dished out a whopping eight yellow cards.

In their last Premier League match on 13 September 2025, Tottenham demolished West Ham 3-0. Tottenham scored all three goals in the second half. Pape Matar Sarr gave Spurs the lead in the 47th minute.

Lucas Bergvall made it 2-0 in the 57th minute, and Micky van de Ven scored the third goal in the 64th minute. West Ham’s Tomas Soucek received a red card in the 54th minute after committing a dangerous foul.

Brighton vs Tottenham: Head-to-Head in 2024/25 Premier League Season

Brighton collected maximum points from Tottenham in the 2024/25 Premier League season. They won both their home and away clashes.

In their last match on 25 May 2025, Brighton humiliated Tottenham in front of their home supporters by thumping them 4-1. Dominic Solanke put Tottenham on the front foot when he scored in the 17th minute of the first half.

A spirited second-half performance by the home side saw them score three goals. Yankuba Minteh scored Brighton’s first goal in the 48th minute, Georginio Rutter levelled matters in the 58th minute, and Danny Welbeck scored Brighton’s winner in the 66th minute.
