Update:
The thrilling London derby between Brentford and Chelsea on Saturday, 13 September 2025, produced four goals. The match ended 2-2.
Chelsea thought they had won it when Moisés Caicedo made the score 2-1 in the 85th minute, but late substitute, Fábio Carvalho, equalised in the 90+3 minute.
Brentford was leading 1-0 during the halftime break. Kevin Schade put his side in the lead in the 35th minute. Cole Palmer, who was introduced in the second half, levelled the score in the 61st minute.

In their last two Premier League matches, Chelsea were on song and collected maximum points. Chelsea thumped Fulham 2-0 on 30 August 2025. On-form forward Joao Pedro netted Chelsea’s first goal in the 45+9 minute, and Enzo Fernandez’s penalty made it 2-0 in the 56th minute of the second half.
Fulham had a goal disallowed in the first half after a VAR review found that there was a foul before it was scored.
In another London derby on 22 August 2025, Chelsea demolished West Ham 5-1 in Round 2 of the new season. West Ham had a dream start to the clash when they went 1-0 up in the sixth minute through Lucas Paqueta’s goal.
They also had a goal disallowed in the 17th minute after a VAR review found that there was an offside before the ball landed in the back of the net.
