Kaizer Chiefs has had a good start to the 2025/26 Betway Premiership campaign. The Glamour Boys have not lost any match, hence they occupy position two on the league table. Nabi’s side has collected 13 points in their first five matches.
Chiefs has won four matches, and their only draw came against defending champions, Mamelodi Sundowns, on 27 August 2025. It was a goalless draw. Chiefs has not conceded any goals and have scored five against their opponents.
Before the international break, Chiefs edged Golden Arrows 1-0 on 30 August 2025. Chiefs has also beaten Richards Bay, Polokwane, and Stellenbosch. They brushed aside Stellenbosch 2-0 in their opening match of the season on 10 August 2025.
Has Sekhukhune United Lost in the 2025/26 Betway Premiership?
Just like Chiefs, Sekhukhune United has not lost any games this season. Babina Noko has won four games, and their only draw came against Amazulu on 27 August 2025. It was a 1-1 draw.
In their last league match on 30 August 2025, Sekhukhune thumped Durban City 2-0. Bradley Grobler and Thabang Monare made sure that their side walked away with all three points when they both scored in the first half of the clash.
Sekhukhune has also won their league matches against Orbit College, TS Galaxy, and the mighty Orlando Pirates. Sekhukhune surprised many when they visited Pirates at Orlando Stadium in their opening match of the campaign on 9 August 2025 and beat them 1-0. Sekhukhune’s Siphesihle Mkhize scored the winning goal in the 48th minute.

Kaizer Chiefs vs Sekhukhune United: Head-to-Head in 2025
Kaizer Chiefs and Sekhukhune United have faced each other twice in 2025. In the last match on 17 May, Kaizer Chiefs and Sekhukhune played a 1-1 draw at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Round 29 of the 2024/25 Betway Premiership.
Ngoanamello Rammala put his side in the lead early in the first half of the clash. He scored in the 4th minute. Amakhosi levelled the score via Makabi Lilepo’s late first-half goal in the 45+2 minute.
Chiefs and Sekhukhune also met on 19 January in Round 14 of the league. Chiefs edged their visitors 1-0 in the encounter played at the Moses Mabhida Stadium. Young footballer Mfundo Vilakazi scored the winner in the 86th minute, breaking the hearts of Sekhukhune players at the eleventh hour.
