Christian Pulisic’s goal gave AC Milan yet another win over Inter at San Siro on Sunday, 23 November 2025.
Pulisic scored from a loose ball inside the box in the 54th minute, giving the Rossoneri a narrow 1-0 victory over their arch rivals in Serie A.
There was drama in the Derby della Madonnina when referee Simone Sozza gave Inter a penalty after a VAR review over a foul on Marcus Thuram.
However, Hakan Çalhanoğlu failed to level the score for the home side as Mike Maignan brilliantly saved his penalty in the 74th minute.
Inter’s Francesco Acerbi was also unlucky not to score in the first half when his superb header hit the left post. Lautaro Martinez also hit the post in the 37th minute after Maignan pushed his shot onto the post.
Out of Inter’s 20 shots, six were on target, while AC Milan managed to convert one of their three efforts that were on target into a goal. Inter has not beaten AC Milan in their last five derbies.
After the match, AC Milan moved into the second spot, leapfrogging Inter and Napoli in the Serie A standings. Massimiliano Allegri’s side is just two points behind leaders Roma, who have 27 points.
