Robert Lewandowski scored three goals when Barcelona defeated Celta Vigo 4-2 at Balaidos on Sunday, 9 November 2025.
The Polish forward was clinical in front of goal in the Round 12 clash, scoring a hat-trick from Marcus Rashford’s assists.
Lewandowski opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 10th minute, but it took less than a minute for Sergio Carreira to respond for Celta Vigo, changing the score to 1-1.
Lewandowski scored Barça’s second in the 37th minute after Marcus Rashford found him inside the box with a superb pass.
However, Borja Iglesias levelled the score in the 43rd minute with a powerful shot that kissed the roof of the net. Lamine Yamal scored Barcelona’s third just before the halftime break, making the score 3-2 in the 45+4 minute.
Lewandowski then found the back of the net with a stunning header in the 74th minute, with Rashford providing his second assist of the night.

Marcus Rashford and Yamal were both denied by the post in the 25th minute and 88th minute, respectively. Frenkie de Jong then got sent off after receiving his second yellow card in stoppage time.
Following their impressive victory, Barcelona jumped to the second spot in the La Liga standings. They’re three points behind league leaders Real Madrid, who are on 31 points.
After the defeat, Celta Vigo occupies the 13th spot with 13 points after 12 games. They’ve won only two matches.
