Real Madrid 2-1 Barcelona: Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappé score in thrilling El Clásico

Real Madrid defeated Barcelona 2-1 in a La Liga match, with goals from Mbappé and Bellingham, extending their lead in the league standings.

Real Madrid edged Barcelona 2-1 in a thrilling La Liga clash at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday, 26 October 2025.

Kylian Mbappé and Jude Bellingham scored Real Madrid’s goals in the dramatic El Clásico. Mbappé found the back of the net in the 22nd minute of the Round 10 match. Bellingham assisted him.

Mbappé also had a goal disallowed for offside after a VAR review in the 12th minute. Barcelona equalised in the 38th minute with Fermin Lopez’s goal. However, Belligham scored the winning goal with an easy tap-in from close range in the 43rd minute.

Los Blancos went into the halftime break leading 2-1. Mbappé failed to extend his side’s lead when Wojciech Szczesny saved his penalty in the 52nd minute.

The thrilling clash ended with Pedri being sent off after receiving his second yellow card of the match in the 90+10 minute.

Pedri got his first yellow card in the first half after pulling Vinícius Junior by his jersey when Real Madrid were threatening in a counter-attack.

Xabi Alonso’s side extended their lead at the top of the La Liga table. After their victory, Real Madrid now has 27 points from 10 matches. Hansi Flick’s Barça occupies the second spot with 22 points from 10 games.
