Manchester City supporters have shared their thoughts on the upcoming UEFA Champions League match against Napoli.
The league phase draw of the most anticipated soccer competition in the world was announced on Thursday, 28 August, in Monaco.

Pep Guardiola’s side will play against Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, Villarreal, Napoli, Bodo/Glimt, Galatasaray, and Monaco. The exact dates and times of the matches will be released soon.
Manchester City vs Napoli
One of the fixtures that stood out for Man City fans was the home match against Napoli. The Cityzens got excited because one of their best former players now plays for the Italian champions.

Kevin De Bruyne joined the Serie A giants on a free transfer at the end of the 2025/25 season. He spent just under ten years at City. In his last season at the club, De Bruyne netted four goals and seven assists in his 28 Premier League matches in the 2024/25 campaign with the England side.
Manchester City Fans Share Mixed Views
Manchester City’s faithful shared mixed reactions to the UEFA Champions League draw. Most of them were excited at the news that KDB is coming back to the Etihad Stadium as an opponent.

Another match that got the City fans going is the Real Madrid game. Some feel their team is always pitted against the Spanish giants. City lost 3-2 to Real Madrid on 11 February and were demolished 3-1 by the same team in Madrid on 19 February.
