Since joining Eintracht Frankfurt from Mainz, Burkardt has been having a season of his life at his new club. At the time of publishing, the German striker had scored eight goals in 10 league appearances for Dino Toppmöller’s side.
Burkardt, born on 11 July 2000 in Darmstadt, is not only scoring goals in the German league but is also finding the back of the net against top European opponents in the UEFA Champions League.

Burkardt scored the third goal for Frankfurt in the clash played at Borussia-Park. Can Uzun, another top striker, assisted him. Burkardt and his teammates went into the break leading 5-0.

Jonathan Burkardt came on in the 61st minute, replacing Jean Bahoya. The score was 4-1 when he was introduced into the match at Deutsche Bank Park on 21 September 2025.
The star kept Frankfurt in contention when he netted his first goal from the penalty spot in the 87th minute, altering the score to 4-3. Unfortunately for him, Union Berlin went on to win the game 4-3.

Jonathan Burkardt had made three appearances for Eintracht Frankfurt in the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League at the time of publishing. The goal poacher had scored three goals in three games.
Burkardt scored one goal when Atlético Madrid demolished Eintracht Frankfurt 5-1 on 30 September 2025. He also found the back of the net twice and assisted once when his side defeated Galatasaray 5-1 on 18 September 2025.
In the 2024/25 season of the Bundesliga, Burkardt scored 18 goals and two assists in 29 appearances for Mainz.
