Aston Villa faces Bologna at Villa Park on matchday one of the UEFA Europa League on 25 September 2025. The match kicks off at 21:00.
Unai Emery’s side has not had a good start to the 2025/26 season. They are yet to win a match in the Premier League. Out of five league matches, Villa has lost two and drawn three.
They’re toothless in front of goal, only scoring once in the league, and their other goal came in a cup fixture. Aston Villa was also knocked out of the EFL Cup on 16 September 2025. Brentford beat them on penalties after the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
Bologna has won two matches out of their four Serie A fixtures. They’ve scored three goals and conceded three. The clash should be a close contest between two sides that are still trying to hit form.
Aston Villa vs Bologna: Who Are the Key Players?
