Bradley Grobler trended when Bafana Bafana failed to score against Zimbabwe in a goalless World Cup Qualifier at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.
At the time, Grobler, 37, had scored six goals in nine matches for Sekhukhune United in the 2025/26 Betway Premiership season. Grobler had also scored two goals in three MTN8 games. The seasoned footballer had also netted once in a Telkom Knockout match.
Some Bafana Bafana supporters felt that Grobler was needed in the national team because he was the most in-form striker in the local league. At the time, Grobler had more goals than any South African forward.

Bradley Grobler once again proved why he’s one of the most lethal strikers in South Africa against Golden Arrows. On 20 September 2025, the veteran forward again scored the winning goal when many thought the match was over.
Grobler pounced in the 90+3 minute, scoring a late winner for Sekhukhune. Again, he ensured that his side secured all three points in the game played at their home ground, Peter Mokaba Stadium.

Bradley Grobler Scores Against Durban City
Durban City is one of the best-performing teams in South Africa’s top-flight football. They had been flying high when they were pitted against Sekhukhune on 30 August 2025.
And once again, Grobler proved why he deserved the national call-up. Grobler scored in the 10th minute, inspiring his side to a 2-0 win against Durban City.
Grobler is a threat in set pieces as he is excellent at scoring headers, and he packs a powerful and accurate shot that can beat any goalkeeper in the world.
